FAQs
1 – Is this suitable for my Montana 610/680?
No, you would need to purchase the Montana bike mount as that GPS unit is much bigger and requires a larger cradle to support it.
2 – Can the GPS be detached easily from the bike?
Yes. The clip stays attached to the handle bar of the bike at all times so you can simply slide and lock the GPS unit on and off.

Used a pair of pliers to really tighten the zip ties, this method keeps the bracket firmly in place on the bars, had a front end wipeout whilst on my mountain bike and the Garmin never moved. Great bit of kit.

Easy to fit and to attach device but it does move around the bar a bit – easy fixed but worth noting.

Despite the expense this isn’t a perfect solution – disconcertingly I have had the GPS fly off the handlebars despite this mount – always use with a back up lanyard.

Excellent bit of kit. Had one some years ago and it would have lasted longer had I not damaged it through my own fault, so here is to many more useful years with this one. Need to put some sort of fabric/foam/rubber under the zip ties which will stop it rotating around very smooth handlebars. The item was delivered in timely fashion and I will recommend and use this store again .
