📍 GPS Location Sharing and Check-Ins
The ZOLEO device can send preset "I’m OK" messages to your contacts directly from the device using the Check-in button. You can include your GPS location too. There's also the Location Share+ feature (add-on) for real-time tracking.
We found the tracking function easy to use and accurate, especially when the unit was placed in the top pocket of a backpack with a clear view of the sky.
🚨 SOS Alerts for Emergencies
If the worst happens, the SOS button—protected under a flap—can be activated on the device or through the app. Once triggered, your GPS coordinates are sent to the global emergency response centre every 6 minutes. You’ll also be contacted through the app for updates.
The response team notifies your SOS contacts and dispatches local emergency services if needed.
